Paint Drip Pumpkins

I have been carving pumpkins every year for as long as I can remember. This year I changed it up a little. Paint drip pumpkins are a great way to decorate and get a fun marbled look. I love this method because it’s easy and I definitely do not trust my 4-year-old with a knife! Yikes!

We used bright neon colors and glitter for ours. Some rich fall tones would also look nice if you wanted to set them up for indoor décor to compliment popular fall décor colors. (browns, oranges, dark greens, mustard yellow) There are so many directions you can go with this. I recommend doing this craft outside because it can get a little messy!

Pumpkins (We used pie pumpkins)

Acrylic Paints (Get a few different colors!)

Cups or Spoons

Plastic Drop Cloth or Cardboard

Glitter (If you’re brave! That sh*t gets everywhere!)

Very easy. Simply fill the spoon or cup with paint and dump over the top of the pumpkin. Keep repeating with different colors until it looks the way you want it to. Let it dry over night. More layers of paint means a longer dry time.

We had so much fun doing this! Share your favorite ways to decorate pumpkins below. Wishing everyone a happy and safe Halloween!

We used Craft Smart Brand Paint. It worked well!
