Did you know there is a BS holiday for every single day now? There is! You can check them all out here. I was inspired by National Creamsicle Day yesterday and threw together just a few ingredients to make this delicious smoothie.
It tastes JUST like a creamsicle and it’s pretty healthy. No added sugar or sweetener junk. It’s so good that after I gave my 3-year-old some, she apologized for waking up grumpy. Anything that can tame a raging three-rex, I will likely make more often. This recipe makes you 3 to 4 servings. Here’s how to make it:
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Vanilla Greek Yogurt
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 4 Clementines
- 2 Bananas
- 2 Cups Almond Milk
- 1 Cup crushed ice
Directions:
Hopefully this is self-explanatory. But in case it’s not, obviously peel the clementines and bananas first. Throw everything in the blender and blend away!

Options to make it healthier – add in a scoop of protein powder (Orgain Organic is my favorite and it’s not too expensive) and/or a small handful of spinach (I add spinach to smoothies most of the time and you can’t even taste it)
-or-
Make it more indulgent – Top with some whipped cream! I prefer the non-dairy kind.
This is the protein powder that I like to add to smoothies sometimes:
Sounds yummy! I have a ninja blender that I like but the Vitamix is the best blender out there if you’re willing to pay $350+.

I love my Vitamix, it works great & is so easy to clean. They are expensive but worth it. You can even make hot soup or your own peanut butter.

I bought a vitamix last year. I would say it’s worth the money but I don’t use it enough. When I do, it is pretty dam good.
